S&P GLOBAL | NY ISO says major renewable, transmission additions needed to hit 2040 goals

New York must significantly increase development of transmission projects and dramatically accelerate its generating capacity additions to meet the mandate of an emissions-free grid by 2040, according to a recent report by the New York ISO.
